HTTP

To test the HTTP adapter you can just test the adapter_plain service in TCODE SICF.

Also TCODE : SMICM and then Shift + F1 and you can see the status of the HTTP server

IDOC

Actually no direct way exist for adapter testing. But to ensure proper idoc communication, use tcode idx1 to check if rfc destination is working and idx2 to check if metadata is properly loaded.

Dear Guna,

Your Question is good, As both these adapters lies in ABAP Stack, we can just see whether the adapters are green or not.

As for as monitoring is concerned we cant check them in Communcation Channel monitoring of RWB work bench or XI.

Wt you can do is post the Idoc from any R/3 system and check the status of the IDOC whether it is posted to XI or not. similarly post HTTP webclient as well.

Thanks for rising the good question.

Hi,

In Component Monitoring> Integration Server> Adapter Engine >

Status > Communication Channel

Check these communication channels are up and running.

Mean while you can able to test the message using Component Monitoring.

In Integration Engine > Test Message Tab, you can able to test the scenario.

Thanks,

hi guna,

you can go to SM59 to see whether the HTTP connections between XI and R/3 are up and running......if your HTTP connections are working here, then your HTTP adapter will be working.......then go to SXMB_MONI to see the xml msgs.

GREEN-- that adapter is successfully working

RED-- That adapter is in error status..

White-- That adapter is not active status.

Please check the blog on searching for messages with values in the payload using the TREX engine....The XI system has to be SP15 or above...

Hi Guna Shekar,

If u want to check the adapters status-----> Go to RWB ADAPTER Monitoring Its shows the all adapters

If u find the IDOC adapter, click on that one. Suppose it is in GREEN-- that adapter is successfully working

RED-- That adapter is in error status..

White-- That adapter is not active status.

any adapter we can check like this only...

Have a nice day...

Skumar.
