Hi,
I have an appraisal template, each year, there is some minor change to the wordings or text within some of the criterion/questions within the template. There is no additional or deletion of criterion. It would be tedious to copy/create a new template every year, grant the template to users, this also makes reporting and teaching end-users more tedious. What is the best way to retain a template, when there is only minor changing of wordings use in the template ? We cannot overwrite the criterion because that affects previous appraisals already filled. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Sameer,
Thanks for your reply. Your suggestion may work well if it is presented on the web, but we would like to apply a solution that works for the smartform printouts and phap_search output (backend) as well. Thanks.

hi
if the wordings are only changing , you can try one thing ,
you can have some static html content created and hosted on within the appraisal program which is deilvered by sap ,
in the description part of your template instead of hard coding any text , try scripting some html/java script which will read content from the application or some other source , this might help
