Hi Experts

We add one new classification field in document (cv03n). Now we need set its initial value.

How is the SAP standard way to do this ? CLMM? But most documents are in RL status(released).

Could it be updated?

Even we use bapi, but any bapi for doucment classficaotn update? We only find document change's BAPI.

Hope to get advice soon.

Thanks

ALice

execute CLMM

Click SET and change values.

Enter class type on top, enter characteristic, enter your new value.

Click tab Target Objs.

click button find objects.

that takes you to the screen find object in classes, ente class and classtype. hit enter.

slect the class and click include subordinate classes button.

Select all objects you want change, then click the copy button.

Now you are back at the target objs tab with all included objects to be changed.

click the test button, if test was okay, then go back and click the button to carry out mass change.
