Hello Experts ,

Can you please share you experience in detection of changes in the data set (output of a calculation view which is not persisted ). ie whenever there is a change in the fields of the source tables used in the view .How to identify that record.

I have a situation where I am calculating stock figures using MARD, EKET and LIPS table in a calculation view .Now every minute I need to provide a consuming application with the records which have changes in the stock figure . I was thinking if we could use the table CDHDR.OBJECTID and conneccting it with document numbers, then connecting these numbers with MARD to get the Material number and Store . But I think in my landscape the changes in the sales document or purchasing documents are not captured. So I am unable to proceed .

Can anybody share any alternative solution or a work around .

Thanks in advance

I noticed that you tagged this question as relating to SAP HANA streaming analytics. Is there a streaming data source that you are working with?

It's clear that you are currently working through calculation views, however if if the data is being streamed from an external source, then HANA streaming analytics can be used to process the event data as it arrives, leveraging reference data from HANA tables as needed or appropriate.
