can we group the requirements of component materials used in different FERT

can we group the requirements of component materials used in different FERT materials and then convert it to production order rather than having different production orders for the same material ?

requirements are not only coming from sales order.

relevant inputs will be rewarded.

Dear,

The lot size indicator in material master will group togather all the requirement for a components from different FERT materials to that components.

If you enter EX, then as you told there will be many production orders.

If you enter MB that is monthly lot size, then the requirement from different products (FERT) for the month willbe grouoed to togather and system will create one production / planned order for the month.\

You can group togather the requirement for a quater so that it will create a production order for a quater....

i think u can use the lot size like Weekly or monthly for the component.

also try for fixed lot for copmonet if applicable to ur sceanrios.
