This looks like it is working OK to restrict a batch. The only table that does not seem to reflect the is MCHA "Restrict" indicator. All else, MCH1, MCHB, MMBE, appear to update properly.
Anybody have any input?

The update is done according to the batch level chosen.
a BDC works equal to a manual change.
Check out what system does when you do it manually. I bet it is the same.
MCHA table is used if your batch level is plant level.
