I am having an issue with Excel attachments in EP. I was able to enable MS Word so a .DOC attachment can be opened in an outside session using the "MS WORD" button. However, neither Word or Excel document attachments can be viewed within the Portal using the "reference to document" icon which appears to the left of the attachment.
Example:
If a user chooses "account management" in the EP, goes into the details of an account and chooses attachments, they can attach an Excel Spreadsheet. It appears and is labelled as an MS Excel File.
But if they click the "reference to doc" button to the left of the file name no action takes place.
I am just wondering whether this is a PCUI config issue, or whether I need to enable something in SICF such as an RFC alias like I did with the MS WORD button? I have looked into creating document templates for Excel in IMG with no effective results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with points.
