Hi,

I need to remove the Sales Org. data for a Product (of type Service) from COMMPRO1. The Delete button is grayed out. Any idea on how to proceed on this.

Thanks,

Anushree

Go to COMMPR01, Switch to Change mode, Now select the Change Pen on the top...The Product would be in CHANGE mode, then select the Distribution chain that you want to delete, then go to place where we put the transaction code, put COM_PR_ORG_DEL, it should ask for save, save it and voila.... hurrrray...

Alternatively you could double click the org data that you want to delete, then go to System >> Status >> Screen Number >> 300 >> double click  MODULE PAI_0300_LOOP >> double click  PERFORM USER_COMMAND_0300  >> set a break point at CASE and then navigate to OK CODE : COM_PR_ORG_DEL.

I have did this and the a BDOC was sent from the system to downstream systems.

Points would be appreciated.

Hi ,

This note explains the logic behind the delete button getting deactive : 702104

"Within the product maintenance you can delete distribution-chain-dependent data as long as you have not saved them. However, if the product was maintained in all distribution chains, the delete button is no longer available so that you cannot delete distribution-chain-dependent data."

Check for the application of this note in your system.

Also chk for the upgrade of this note with SAP

Hi anushree,

Yes you are right they will be in display mode only as these are default settings for the Product

If you want to delete the org details from the s&D set type of Commpr01 then follow this

SPRO >SAP IMG>Customer Relationship Management>Master Data>Products>Enhancements>Allow Changes to Product Data

you will need to know the product type, object family and the set type

Hope this helps

Hi Raj,

After adding the 2 set types, copy is activated, but delete is still incative. Anything else also to be done?

Thanks,

Hi ,

Ya it might require more exploration for that particular set type ..what you can also do is delete the sales area in R/3 or ECC

Hi,

The services do not flow to R/3 at all from CRM. Is there any way we can proceed?

Thanks,
