hi all.

observe the following code.

data:v_lifnr type n,

if <var>-fieldname = 'lifnr'.

v_lifnr = <var> -value.

select............................

this is regarding interractive report using function modules.

in this ,when we declare variables to hold the selected value for interactive list,we declare the variable with a TYPE.

my query is how to analyse the TYPE.

if i am writing type c , secondoray list is displayed with no data.

but when i decalre it as type n , it is displaying secondary list perfectly.what's happening actually?
