Hi All,

In SAP HANA studio,we are trying activate more than one inactive objects, butits not allowing to activate. Because it "can not assign objects to change, as object selected are already assigned to more than one change".

However, able to activate one object at a time. We have many inactive objects to activae, its really time consuming activity to activate single object at a time.

Please help.

Thanks,

alternatively... create a brand new halm id.... add all the existing objects to it.. then if you have new objects... select the same halm id as the existing objects were assigned to the new one...

the error is very descriptive saying that you cannot activate objects in multiple changes at once -

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for your reply.

Created new change ID but not able to add existing objects into it.

We understood the error that some of the objects are locked in different change ID thus it won't allow to activate it.

These are HANA calculation views which we want to activate.

Is there any way to find in which change ID that object is locked?

how can I add existing objects in new Change ID in HANA studio?

Thanks,

Shweta

all you have to do to reassign it is... select the old object in the old halm id... drag and drop into the objects section of the new halm id... that should work - hope it works for you

Hi Sergio,

Able to reassign object to new change ID.

Also found the objects and change IDs in the table _SYS_REPO.CHANGE_ENTRIES.

Thanks for your help 🙂
