Hierarchy - Web Item to display Key and Characteristic name

Folks,

I have a web item for Hierarchy selection. Any suggestions how I can have the characteristic key value displayed as well as the characteristic text?

I want:

10000 Wages

11000 Salaries

I have:

Wages

Salaries

I can't see anything in RSH1 on the hierarchy nor in the properties of the web item.
