stock not avilable

Dear All,

I am creating sales order fo material having stock say 10

but while doing ATP check at sales order level it saying

For item 000010 only 0 EA are available on 07/31/2008

Then I uploaded stock of 20 in back date after that also i am facing same error

Can you please advice?

This was happening because material was in supersession (Material determination) chain

Hi

Check in MD04 the total requirements. I suggest you to upload more stock ( 200 or 300) and check for the ATP quantities.

Hello check whether the stock is in unrestricted use or for sale order stock.If it is for a sale order stock then move that to unrestricted use.

system is showing UNRESTRICTED STOCK as 10 and AVILABLE stock as ZERO

Dear Vishal

Check in material master what strategy group you have maintained. I feel you are trying to test Make To Stock scenario in which case, it should be 10. If it is different, then you need to check places like Requirement Type, Requirement Class etc.

Upon your feedback, will suggest how to proceed.

Its not make to order scenario

Its totally a trading business scenario where we purchase some material from OEM or Vendor.

but something i found is really crazy. This material is in supersession chain n been superseded by 2 materials.

when i uploaded stock for other 2 materials n tried to do ATP is was doing perfectly as required

so i think this is because supersession

if you have any other suggetions please do tell
