Is External ITS required for R/3 4.7 to call R/3 transaction from CRM WebUI

Dear Gurus,

We have CRM 2007 and R/3 4.7 Enterprise, now we need to call R/3 transaction from Web UI. I could not find ITS service in SICF of R/3 4.7 and came to know that it come integrated with 640 release.

Can anyone tell me whether I need to go for external ITS for my requirement or is there any way in R/3 4.7 where I can activate it or create without installing external ITS.
