Now i got a chance to shift into logistics(courier and logistics) project.

This is service industry project.Right?

Then could you please tell me on which functionality i have to get knowledge as a SD consultant?

This is implementation project.So which modules they may be implement?

And what type of business functionality it may contains....

Hi Emvee,

As per the general business process of Courier & Logistics the following modules company implement ;

FI : Finance

CO : Controlling

MM : Materials Management

SD : Sales & Distribution

HR : Human Resource Management (its depends upon the company size and the requirement)

The following points are also need to be consider at the time of Implementation :

u2022 Service Material

u2022 Service Contract

u2022 Credit Customer

u2022 One time Customer

u2022 Pricing

There are actually lots of points to consider but I had just given youu2019re an brief idea for the same.

Hi,

Generally in any kind of business there must be FI Module and as this is courier and logistics service the modules will be SD also.

Try to learn about the business process of the logistics companies like DTDC, BlueDART etc.

Brwose tthe net for best practices in this area.
