Problem when running query

Dear all,

When I run my created query, the system display the message

You do not have authorization for access with activity 03 on the InfoProvider IC071801.

Function Module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist.

I also search through the forum and when I check the authorization object 0BI_ALL, it does not exist in my system.

Is this because of the activation of the technical BI content failed?

Hello Truong Giang Nguyen,

If you're using the old obsolete authorization method of BW 3.x in RSSM you should have a role with access to S_RS_ICUBE

with values:

Activity 03

Subobject InfoCube DATA

InfoArea * (Or the InfoAreas of the InfoCube you want)

InfoCube * (Or the InfoAreas of the InfoCube you want)

If your InfoProvider is an InfoSet, or an ODS or a Multiprovider you should use instead the following objects instead of S_RS_ICUBE:

S_RS_ISET

S_RS_MPRO

S_RS_ODSO

You should have this role assigned to the user.

Otherwise if you're using the new analysis concept of authorization you should go to transaction RSECADMIN. If you want to grant 0BI_ALL authorization you should go to tab User push the button Assignment insert the user you want to grant 0BI_ALL click on change insert the name 0BI_ALL and click on insert. Save it and test it again.

Else if you don't want to give access to 0BI_ALL but you're still using this Analysis concept go to transaction RSECADMIN in tab Authorizations click on Maintenance give a name for a new authorization and click on create. Give a short text description.

Click on the InfoCube button mark the * button and insert your InfoProvider name. Mark all the characterisitcs that appear on the next window and click on enter. Click on the button next to the button of the Infocube named Insert Special Charact. Save that authorization.

Now go to transaction RSECADMIN. Go to tab User push the button Assignment insert the user you want click on change insert the name of the new authorization you've just created and click on insert. Save it and test it again.
