Total Consumption in MB53

Hi Experts,

In MB53, if we click the consumption button, the Consumptioin details for the related material would be displayed. Can someone tell me how the total consumption is calculated?

And what is the link b/w this total consumption and MB51?

Hi

Material Consumption from MB53 is from the material master stored in Table MERV - Material Consumption, In the material master Clcik on Additional Data, & Click on Tab Page - Consumption.

I have a further question.

Say tne material documents that record the goods mvt would reflect in the total consumption, will the material document with special stock indicator 'E' influence the output in total consumption?

Hi

I dont think they will effect that , the Consumption Values are only updated when the material is Consumed off....

The Movment type is 261

Go to MB51 Enter the material no

plant

movement type : 261

Date

execute

you can find the Total consumption datewise

if you want to see the previous month

go to MM03 go to additional data and check the consumpttion

tab
