HI ,
I have created a subscription on a folder as user X. User y would receive the notification when any changes in folder are made. Now any user with read/write access can modify the folder .
The notification that the user Y receives contains User X in the from field,
Is it possible that the from field contains the name of the user who modified the content
You can modify the subject and body of the notifcation emails by editing the XML (and/or XSL) files lying in /etc/notifications
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Oh. Sorry. The sender of the mail (the from field) normally is the fitting channel originator to the channel you send the notification with. For subscription email this is per default the subscription.EMAIL originator. You can simply specify any email address here, but it is not possible to use variables. So, to achieve what you want you need to have a look if the KM API give some possibilities here and do some development.
