Reg authorisation for QPLD

Hi All,

I have created QPLD ( Query print layout reports) , i want to give authorisation to the user. I serarched in general authorisation menu. i couldn't find out . When i go to the QPLD print , system says No authorisation for Document printing..

Pl give me solution.

You have the following authorization in General:

Send Message

Print Layout Design

Change Default Report

Query Print Layout...

Document Settings

Edit Document Tables

Access to Confidential Accounts

Account Balances

BP Balances

Unformatted Text

Export to MS-EXCEL

Export to MS-WORD

Layout to PDF

Set the authorization for the user for Query Print Layout...

already i have given full authorisation to the Query print lay out which is in General.. But still system says, no authorisation for document setting .

set authorization to the following;

Extension Tools

Define Formatted Search No Authorization

Manage User Fields No Authorization

Execute Commands Full Authorization

User-Defined Object Registration No Authorization

already i have given full authorisation to full "Extension Tools " to full authorisation.

Can the user run the query itself, without the print layout?

yes they can able to run the user queries , but only the reports is the probelm, even they can't generate the vendor liabilities repor also

Give Authorizations for 'Reports -> Query Generator -> Saved Queries Group1 to Group 20'

Hi,

If you want to give authorization to print the document you should give full Authorization to "Document Settings" in Administration --> System Initialization --> Authorizations --> General Authorizations --> Sales A/R --> Document printing option as Full Authorization.

I hope it works.

Hi Suresh,

Have you let the user log off and on? The authorization change can only occur during next log on. If you set up all related to Full, it should be fine.
