This question relates to BI Launchpad and Central Management Console.

I have created a User Attribute called employeeID. This is the user's HR employee number. It is loading automatically from AD authentication. How can I run a Crystal Report from BI Launchpad and pass this as a parameter or create a filter to only return data for the logged in employeeID?

You can create a UFL (User Function Library) with a GetUser() function.

At least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports UFLs UFL (see list of 3rd-party UFLs) offers a function to get the logged in User ID.
There is also at least one 3rd-party Crystal Reports viewer that automatically sets a parameter to the logged in user ID.
