Could you please tell me what is the meaning of Data Reconciliation?

It is to check if all data was successfully loaded.
It is a design principal that you need to decide on before a project.
Many clients these days want to be sure that all data fro mthe source was loaded to the data warehouse....to do this you implement a program to check if all the data was loaded and if it was not - you should send a exception alert/email so that someone can resolve the problem.
