Oracle RAC load balance and failback - issues

Hi Guys,

For SAP (6 applications)running with Oracle 2 Node RAC, the failback after failover is not happening as expected. All the active application threads are getting terminated while trying to relocate at back end using the crsctl.

Looking for better option to failover and failback without affecting the ongoing active threads.

Hope you are from SAP. If so , please refer the incident - 415008 / 2017 which has all the details.

We are using the srvctl relocate service

Hi Krishna,

Which command you are using to do the relocate? srvctl has lots of option to do the failover, and the behavior is different from 11g and 12c, please refer to the guide.

Also please share with me one of the SAP work process trace and the time frame.
