material assignment

I"m tring to assign one material to a sales order from another sales order, its giving error message account assignment is not possible! so i"ve to remove assignment of material from sales order & reassign it to new sales order to which i want to assign!

Is there any other way round to avid this?

Dear Mandar

I am not sure as to why you are trying to assign a material from one sale order to another and also how r u doing that.

Instead, You can enter as a new line item in the sale order and generate delivery.

go to MM02.in Sales org 2, account assignment is there. u assign it there.ur problem may be solved..
