Hi Vijay,
Have you save your Business object in $TMP. if so i think its not possible to do with it... Try saving it in a package and do... i dint get any kind of issues by doing so...
Could you tell me the way you are doing..

Hi Vijay,
Tell me the process you have specified the business object and the event in Worlkflow. Even though you saved the workflow in a package or not it doesnt matter... save the business object in a package...
As i asked you tell me the process.. i think there might be different way you are approaching..
For pictorial references goto
saptechnical.com --> Tutorials --> Business workflows. In that see that triggering workflow through events topic and look into it.

Hi Vijay,
For the Business workflow and BOR you need to assign it to the Package . Local objects are not applicable in the workflow stuffs.
just create a workflow and assign it to the package then this issue will be resolved.
Thanks,

Hi Vijay,
Ok let me explain you how to resolve this workflow issue.
1. First Create a workflow through pftc. and do not assign any event in the workflow and try to activate it .
2. Then check which BOR you are using and if its a subtype of any BOR then try to check, whether it should be in package or not and do not forget to delegate the subtype with the BOR.
3. then goto the workflow builder and try to assign the the BOR and Event. and activate it .
I think this might help you to activate your workflow.
if still you face the problem then just send me the whole steps how you are following to create the workflow.
