R/3 material with Quality info records in SRM

Hi Team,

I have a material in R/3 that has Quality info on it and in order to approve the PO in SRM, the client wants to send the materials that has Q info records in R/3 for special approval.

Does SRM displays the material that has Quality flag on it in SRM?

How do I see the Q info record before approval for a material. We have to do this in order to choose the right vendor and then send to manager for approval.

Hi. Just find the table that stores the quality info records, then use function module RFC_READ_TABLE from SRM.

Hi. You mean you want special approval in SRM if the material in the backend has a qualtity info record?

Do you use the N Step workflow to appove in SRM?

If so, you can just check directly in the backend from the N Step BADI to see if a qualtity info record exists.

If there is not a BAPI to call in the backend for this you can call function RFC_READ_TABLE from the N Step BADI for the table that holds qualtity info records.

If anything is found in the backend just add the extra approval.

Hi,

I dont think it is possible to bring quality inforecords in R3 to standard SRM and display it along with the material data and get approvals for materials replicated in SRM. ( May be you have to go for custom development)

Is it possible to attach the quality data either in shopping cart or PO in SRM for approval as a workaround?
