SAP Records Management: Change case type of existing case

Hi all,

I've got a question regarding SAP Records Management:

We've accidentially created some cases with the wrong case type. However, the only difference between the case types are the visibilities of the nodes. The node structure etc. is excatly the same.

One possibility of fixing this would be downloading the content of all the cases, deleting them, re-creating them with the correct case type and uploading all the content again. However, this is quite an effort.

So I am wondering if it's somehow possible to change the case type (or the used record model to be more specific) and do a synchronization with the model afterwards. Ideas anyone how to do this?

Cheers,

Bjoern
