MRP PR price get Changed back to valuation price even though User has changed it

Hi All,

MRP PR generated, PR has valuation price $30 ( MMR price). User has changed valuation price of PR to $31 and then PR released. Controller converted the same PR in to PO , price in to PO $31 which is correct and PO has saved and released.

After few days user has notice that PR price is $30 instead of changed price $31.

There are 2-3 mrp generated PRs where price has changed back to valuation price (MMR price) after PR has been released.

I checked item changes or PR and nobody has changed the price back to valuation price $30, any guidance appreciated

Yes, PR approved at $31 and change log has entry for it.

I will check Note 1910533 and keep posted

As the PR was approved at $31 you should have an entry in the change history as evidence.

If the current price is 30 and no further entry in the change history then it is clear that there must be a bug, so the best situation to show it to SAP for a fix.

Maybe the fix is already there, but there are preconditions which you had not mentioned, so you need to check this note yourself: 1910533 - ME52N: PR valuation price changes

Hi Jurgen.

I can reproduce this issue in sandbox but only once, the PR price is changed back to valuation price due to MRP run in background job. we have 3 background jobs schedule Regenerative - NEUPL, 2,3,1,2,2-Weekly 2.AM, NETCH-2,3,1,2,2- Daily at 3.00 AM and plant specific only for this plant where this price change is happening P019 plant P019NETCH NETCH, 1,3,1,1,1 at 1.20 PM daily.

This is sure that one of the MRP backgroud job is responsible for changing valuation price back to MMR price.

Any thought is really appriciated

In PR only one material is there so note 1910533 will not fulfill all prerequisites in my case, the main cause of this issue is Regenerative - NEUPL, 2,3,1,2,2-Weekly 2.AM, whenever this run weekly system has changed the PR price back to valuation price (MMR Price) irrespective of PR released or not or converted or unconverted to PO

I already said in my earlier reply that you are in the best situation to discuss this with SAP support as you can show them that the price is reset.
