How to set the email of the business partner role "employee"

we're using IT Service Management functionality of Solution Manager 7.2 SP05 and we have a daily job which creates business partners for all user accounts found in our ERP production system. (created with transaction BP_USER_GEN)

When we create an incident via the CRM Web Ui and try to enter a user in the "Reported by" field, the search pop-up window only lets us search by name. Email address and other fields are all shown as empty (see first screenshot) even though, when I look at business partners via the transaction BP, I can see the email address is present (2nd screenshot).

What do we have to do to have the information visible in the CRM Web Ui?

Hi Arun,

I believe columns Account, Email and Phone are related to the contact person relationship that a person has with an organization.

So, in your example, in column Account you would have the organization name for which 'Arun' is a contact person, and phone/email would be filled with the data inserted for that relationship.

If you check this in BP transaction code by hitting the button 'relationships', check if this business partner has any Contact Person relationship.
