How to manage NON SAP ChaRM


How do we manage Changes (minor, technical ) on NON SAP Products using ChaRM? Any knowledgebase will be helpful

    You can use General Change (or even Admin, Standard, Urgent and Normal Change if using 7.2, since now it's not mandatory to have transport requests created for Urgent and Normal). What you need to do is add your non-SAP products in the LMDB, so you will have configuration items for non-SAP. For General Change you can even keep configuration item in blank if the cycle doesn't have a task list.

    • Hi Raquel,

      We are facing the issue while creating the Admin Change for Change Request the Configuration Item does not get selected automatically for Non SAP System niether if we add manually it searches in the F4 Help.

      2nd issue is if the CD gets generated successfully but while putting it in Process we are getting error as 'No Link to cycle'.

      If you have any idea about it can you please guide us.
