Is the monitoring service is available in the Cloud Foundry environment?

I want to find out if i'm able to monitor applications on the SAP Cloud Foundry platform? I'm a Performance Engineer and I know that the monitoring service is available for the Neo environment. Will the monitoring service be available for the SAP Cloud Foundry platform?

Hi John,

There is an openSAP course on Cloud Native Development currently running that will deal with this topic. Specifically on:

Week 4: Service-to-Service Communication:

• Unit 1: Logging and Tracing Using SLF4J
• Unit 2: Analyzing Logs in Kibana

In order words, you will not be monitoring your apps the same way you are doing with Neo. It will be much more powerful with Kibana.
