SAP WebDispatcher configuration for Backend Fiori access on Public IP

Hi,

I am configuring a Sap Webdispatcher to use a SAP ECC backend system for Fiori APPS.

Our Webdispatcher is on DMZ Network with a public IP.

Our SAP ECC backend is on a secure Network with only a private IP.

All user must go first on Webdispatcher to be redirected to backend.

We use the following configuration parameter :

icm/server_port_10 = PROT=HTTPS,PORT=45100
wdisp/system_10 = SID=S50, MSHOST=xxxxx.apps2cap.com, MSPORT=8101, SRCSRV=*:45100, SRCURL=/ , CLIENT=120

When we are remotely connected (with RDP) on to the webdispatcher, we can access the Fiori Launchpad of the backend system.

BUT, when we are connected externally (via Internet), we can access the main page of the Fiori launchpad, but when we click on a tile, we have an error message Indicated : "Unable to locate IP address of xxxx.apps2cap.com"

And this is quite normal because it's a private addess !!!!

Hello,

Is this hapening for all the apps or only for webdynpros or transactions?For this kind of apps you have to identify the rfc type H used and point directly to your webdispatcher. Then you have to add in the webdispatcher profile the proper configuration to point to the backend to be able to redirect there some URLs.
