Is it requested to have SAP user on the backend system to use the payslip mesh up page?

We need to access the payslip for each employee in EC. Our customer has Sap Payroll on premise but does not have SAP backend users and licences for each employee. Is it possible to use the EC payslip meashup without having for all the employees without having licences in the backend system?

to add one question to this. does this user has to be a dialog user or it can be a service user as well.

My assumption is that it can be a service user as well.

EC Payslip is nothing but ESS screen mashup in SFSF EC. You would need to assign them HCM ESS roles in SU01 etc to make it work.

So licenses part you can still be okay, as its part of SFSF EC and they are reusing but i would still confirm with your account executive
