Relation of SAP EP to other Netweaver layers?

Hi!

I just want to ask if there is a high-level / functional / technical overview (probably a document, HTML links, etc) on how SAP EP is related or integrated with the other Netweaver layers (such as Information Integration, Process Integration, etc)? Or are they separated entities?
