Hi
I am trying to confirm the Production order using CO15, But at the time , i want to make the GI automatic for the componets , I maintain the back flush indicator for the components in the material master. How to make GI automatic
Thanks
JJ
Hi,
Plesae check the setting for all your componant in MRP 2 view of material master --The material is always backflushed - Always wherever this material used will be backflushed.
Then try with CO15 and come back.

HI you can make your component as auto Goods issue if you mantain the always bnackflush indicator in material master.
and if you don't maintain this in materail master and you want all the componets entered in the order should come for auto GI.
then you got OPK4 there you have goods movements and check box for all components. if you tick theis all the components asssined to the o[peration will come to confiramtion for GI

Hy JJ,
For Automatic Goods issue most imp thing is all the components are marked for BackFlushed.
You can set Components for Backflushed via following 3 ways.
1) In Material Master MRP 2 view. (Always Back Flush)
2) In Workcenter or Resource
3) In ROuting or Master Recipe.
- If required you can assign components to the different operation or phases. If not then system auto assign all the components to the first Operation or phase. So doing Confirmation of that operaion or phase you can find all the components assgin to that phase will come to that goods movement screen. And from there you can do the goods issue.
- Now if you have do the Batch Determination(In case of Batch Managed) in Production order or Process order itself and issue storage location or production storage location is maintain in Master itself then there is no need to look in to goodsmovement screen.Goods movement is posted automatically with the confirmation (Batch Determination is opetional but Backflus is compulsory)

Hi
Kindly check the following setting to ensure you have done correctly:
Material master
With the Backflushing key (MRP2) you can specify that
-The material is not generally backflushed - that nmeans this material wherever used will not be backflushed
-The material is always backflushed - Always wherever this material used will be backflushed
-The work center determines whether the material is backflushed - WC setting has the priority if this setting is made.
Work center -
You can set the Backflushing indicator on the Basic data screen. This is only taken into account, if the material master stipulates that the work center should determine whether the material is backflushed. Work centers are assigned to a production order via the operations. The operations are copied from the routing used.
Routing
You can stipulate that the material is to be backflushed, on the component overview in the routing. This indicator is always taken into account, irrespective of the indicators in the material master or work center.
If the Backflushing indicator has been maintained in the master data, it is copied from there when you create a production order. You can change the indicator in the production order, as you like

Hi,
If the backflush indicator is maintained in the MRP 2 view (always backflush option) then during confirmation (CO15) GI will be done automatically.
