Hi All,

Our internal basis team have just installed SRM 5.0 onto our dev box and released the system to us.

Please can someone explain to me why I am only able to see non-web based (Shopping Cart Wizard etc) views only, even though I have been assigned the Employee role.

At the moment, when assigned the Employee role I can only see the available authorisations (Shop, Requests, Inbox etc)in the usual SAP Gui format and not the web based format that the end users would usually see.

I am not a basis consultant but would like to verify if they need to provide any special URL Http address

http://<HOST NAME>.<DOMAIN NAME>.local:<PORT NUMBER>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=010

Any help would be appreciated!

Muchos Thanks,

Mikey P

Hi,

Do you have your IP address and the host name added in your drivers --> host file in the system you are trying to login?

Hope all other entries from SRM side(SICF, TWUPULSVR, etc.) is complete.

Best regards,

HI,

If you dont know how to create a weblink then go to tcode SICF

Default Host  SAP  bc  gui  sap  its  bbpstart

On the bbpstart right click and click on test services and the SRM portal will open up.

Check in SM30 table TWPURLSLVR entries are maintained

Thanks & Regards,

Kiran

Assume that all the basic entries are available.

Go to SE80 > Internet services> BBPSTART--->LOGIN

Click LOGIN and press F8.

Now you may get Browser strated message instantly you can see the web URL

Please use the below URL :

https://<SERVER>:<PORT NUMBER>//sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart/?sap-client=010&sap-language=EN

This should solve your problem.

Note: make sure you have SAP EBP Roles. ie. SAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE
