Reopen closing period asset accounting

Dear Friends,

Physical year closed 31s, tmarch 2008, i have issue in more then one year assets, i want to reopen fiscal year 2008. kindly explain to me how can i reopen fiscal year 2008. .

arun i find

OAAR is to reopen the depreciation area. thus we can open the depreciation area and we can do what we want.

Have you ever thought about using F1 Help? When you use the SAP menu, highlight the transaction code, for example AJRW and click on F1. You will get 'help' that describes exactly what the transaction does/is used for.

The SAP Help Portal and F1 help are both very robust with the information provided. You should become familiar using both.

yes i will try

AJRW is used to change year at the time of year end. that means we completed all transactions correctly.

OAAQ this is for, if we find any mistakes in previous year then we need to rectify that. for that we have to undo the AJRW that means once again we are coming to previous. why because we can not do any this year related previous year issues.

OAAR frankly iam saying that i dont know anything this. i never use it.
