Dear SAP experts,
we are currently developing an add-on-solution to support dev projects and ALM for add-ons created with the Cloud Applications Studio (within ByDesign itself).
In this regard, we would really be pleased if we could enrich our solution with further context data:
1) Active ByD-tenants (+maintenance schedule) of the respective customer
2) Information on which Add-On-Solutions (with version info) is running on each of those tenants
The information mentioned in 1) already exists in the ByD UI (WoC Service Control Center).
Is there a chance to include the two information topics in the Public Solution Model of ByDesign so we could access it?
Who might be managing these kind of strategic dev issues? dirk.neudert?
Kind Regards
Pablo
Hello again,
I was in contact with some people from SAP and unfortunately they indicated this would probably not be possible (aka they do not want) to open this add-on-related data to the PSM. Maybe I'll have to look for another contact or channel but this was quite disappointing for me.
Kind Regards
Pablo

Hello Horst,
thank you, I did raise an incident and got the following response:
Dear Pablo, Thanks for contacting SAP Product Support. We have investigated the issue and found that the information you are looking for to get the tenant details is not available for the PSM releases. If you need such specific functionalities you can use the following approaches:
* Approach your project manager or SAP contact to see if they can help.
* Submit an idea via the SAP Business ByDesign Ideas Forum: https://ideas.sap.com/SAPBusinessByDesign
* Approach the Service Center (servicecenter@sap.com) to see if they can fulfill such specific request. Note: The services of the SAP Cloud Service Center will be charged as packaged services based on fixed prices.
In case you need any further clarification feel free to re-open the incident, else close it from your side.
Regards,
*** SAP Product Support
Didn't know it was that complicated to file a PSM release request.
I will talk to our partner manager and see if there is a way to get something going on..
Kind Regards
Pablo
