Overview Page Template is not working in SAP WebIDE

Dear All,

Since few days I am facing issues while creating overview page using the template provided in WebIDE.

During Template customizing step I am getting the error: "cannot read property 'length' of undefined".

I have tried with SAPUI5 version 1.44 and 1.52 and the same error occurs.

At the same time, List-Report application template is working fine as it requires same steps.

Multiple times browser cache has been cleared as well.

Any Insight will be helpful.

I have tried to create the project with sapui5 version "1.50.9". its working for me.

Hi Meghal,

First of all one week before I was getting the option for SAPUI5 version 1.50 and which has been now replaced with 1.52. So my WebIDE has been upgraded to latest version.

I tried with both 1.44 and 1.52 and getting an error as mentioned in the main thread.

What else observations do you need?

I have shared one observation that "List Report Application" template, which shares the same steps as OVP are being created successfully.

Hi Dhananjay,

I would need few more details to reproduce the issue.

1. Is this error shown in the Add Card wizard?
2. What Datasource is being used in the "Configure Datasource" step?
3. What card type and other details (view switch, KPI header) values are being used?
