hi gurus

while doing the vendor consignment on screen MIGO i m facing problem of cost center. i do not know how to find the cost centeror create cost center . I m doing on ECC 6.0

so pl help me in this issue.

Hi

Try KS01 for Cost centre creation which is the old tcode now use OKEON which is the njoy transaction which is also used for creation of CC group

First of all you have to concept of cost centre group and standard hierarchy. If you create Cost Centre Group in KSH1, it will not appear in Cost Centre master data.

If you want to get Cost Centre group in CC master data, you need to create the same in OKEON.

KE51 for profit centre creation.

Navigation path for Creating Cost Centers.

Go to SPRO - Controlling - Cost Center Accounting - Master Data - Cost Centers - Create Cost Center / Trxn code KS01

You can create Cost Center in KS01 Trxn code. Go to KS01 and in Extras Select Controlling Area and save then Give Cost center and Validity the enter and Input fields are:

Name, Desc, Person Responisble, Department,Cost Center Category, heirarchy area, Business area, Profit Center (Optional) & Currency. nad save.

You can create Cost Center Category in KSH1 trxn code.

Remember In Controlling Each GL account is Consider as One Cost Element. So you must create GL account as Cost Element in KA01 trxn code.
