Hi,

we are bringing data from HANA studio to Design Studio and observed that one column (DataType : Decimal) not getting scale values after decimal point.

Here from the screen shot1 from HANA studio, there column CA_DELAY_PLAN having the values datatype Decimal and in the screen short 2 from Design Studio for the same id's the values are getting different.

Screen shot 1:

id : Ending with E71DC95E9F

column "ca_delay_plan" : 1.47

Screen shot 2:

id : Ending with E71DC95E9F

column "ca_delay_plan" : 1 (it taking the value as 1 leaving two decimal .47)

what is changing the values when we getting the data from Hana Studio to Design Studio.

Hi - please check your version of Design Studio - see this SAP Note: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2255055/E

Hi,

BTW Design Studio is already runnin 1.6 PL 02 - therefore the note is not relevant.

In addition it appears that the decfloat / floating / decimal columns are "rounded" - So the most problematic part is that the sum will remove all values rounded to 0, and the final result is far behind the reality.

As I don't find any help on that topic I'm gonna open an OSS call for this point.
