We are running an VisualStudio 2010 application on various Windows versions.
The application supports, on a workstation four printers all of different formats (A4, receiptform 80mm, document specific format and labels). All well until Windows 10, 64-bits. and CR SP20 where we have found two problems
1. printing on the A4 printer sometimes, but not always, results in a print 80mm wide (receipt printer width). No errormessage
2. the receipt printer does not print if the form is not of fixed length (uncommon when it comes to reciepts). Error message: Header and footer does not fit to page. Printer: Startronics FuturePrint 143
The printing is done by one common routine to which the printername (and form) is supplied in the call. The routine asks for the settings and the prints.
Appreciate some guidance on this. (The primary tag may or may not fit but I appreciate rerouting if this is the case.)
