How to handle Animal Origin , Kosher ,animal fat in sap ehs

Hi Experts ,

Can anyone provide on how we can handle these requirements in sap ehs

    You can use either Recipe Management or Recipe Development in order to mange food related regulatory requirements such as nutrition calculation or labeling.

    In EHS you would need to develop everything yourself.

    the feedback of Mark is only roughly "50%" of reality (but this is kind of interpretation)

    Let us define your topic: you would like to maintain / retriv data regarding "Kosher" etc.

    In most cases EHS is not used for this demand (but many companies use EHS for handling)

    Animal fat: this is a very "mixed" term. Generally this is handled in in most cases in SAP RM/SAP RD

    Animal origin is once again "mixed" term. Here we can see uses of this term in EHS and uses of this term in Material or as part of "Batch management" (and may be other option)

    So just feel free to look for the best option. The best solution depends on specific demand

    PS: many consultant have issues with this "Kosher, Halall" etc. topics, and Honestly: it is no easy to handle that and any solution depends on the specific needs of the company. there does not exists any "Best Practise" approach
