C4C How to assign an e-mail in outlook to a (non standard) contact person

Hi,

I have a situation where accounts have multiple contacts. I select the contact, so that the details are visible in the side pane on the screen. Adding mails to a specific opporutinity visible in the side pane works fine. When i want to add an e-mail that i received (form somebody other than the contactperson) to a contact person, not being the main contactperson, the drag and drop functionality (drag the mail from the inbox into the side pane) does not work for the contact person, only for the account. When using the add e-mail button, i can refer to an account, but i cannot continue selecting one of the existing contactpersons.

Can anybody confirm that this is (not) normal behaviour? Did i forget a setting? And will it change in a future release?

MJ

P.S. With new emails, the mails are assigned well to the contactperson, probably because of the email address, when no contact selcetion is needed.

As of today the system automatically assigns the email to contact matching the sender's email address and there is no way to change this.
