The name of the "sender component" for ABAP proxy outbound message

ABAP proxy gurus,

I am new to the ABAP proxy.

When I sent a XML message to our PI/XI from our R3 system, the xml message reached our PI server but I got an error message in PI/XI saying "Receiver Determination: No Receiver could be determined".

I noticed that the "sender component" of my proxy message is the business system name in our XI SLD, not the the name of the "Communication Component Without Party" defined in the integration builder configuration.

The business system name is different from the name of the "Communication Component Without Party" even they point to the same logical system.

Do the business system name in the XI SLD must be the same as the name of the "Communication Component Without Party" if they point to the same logical system?

Thanks!

Fisher Li

    Hi,

Have you configured the "Integrated Configuration" in the Integration Builder ? (Sender + Service Interface)

In the "Integrated Configuration" you must determine the receiver (Communication Channel; Party; Business Component; ...)

Usually this kind of error comes from the "Integrated Configuration".

    Youri,

    Thank you for your input.

After I asked our Basis team to change the the business system name in the XI/PI SLD to be exactly the same as the name used in the "Communication Component Without Party", my ABAP proxy works now.

By the way, the business system in the XI/PI SLD and the "Communication Component Without Party" point to the same logical system.
