Problem - Number Range Buffering - NRIV Table

Hi SD Gurus

We are processing around 1200 IDOCS to post our daily sales in our ERP system. Each IDOC has < 1000 segments. Initially we were not using number range buffering for which reason the IDOCs took lot of time to get posted. Thereafter, we activated the Number Range Buffering for the Main Memory to 100 in RV_BLEG for the NRIV Table. Dramatically, the processing speed increased by almost 40%.

Recently, there are again problems in the system. In Transaction ST22 we started getting <no buffering> dump and the processing also slowed down considerably (there are no other processes going on in the system). For this reason we have deactivated the Number Range Buffering. This has further slowed down the processing and we are not able to meet the deadlines of IDOC processing. We are alloting 50 processors for IDOC processing. Can anybody guide in this matter please. It is really URGENT.

    I think it is system processing.

    Please raise the thread in the ABAP and basis forum so that you will right help from them
