Message for Missing Parts While Creating Order

Dear Friends,

While Creating & Saving The Production Order System Is Not Supporting In Giving A Warning Massage On Missing Parts In spite Of Deficit In Storage Location For Materials.

The Clint Requires A Warning Massage In Case Of Materials Shortage In SL

I Tried To Get This From the Following Method

Checked For Define checking control In OPJK.

Selected plant, Order type & selected the business function 1 for create or 2 for release. And Maintained These Settings

a) Removed tick mark in No Availability check.

b) Type of component check Given as - ATP check.

c) Material release - 1. User decides on release if parts are missing.

d) PP Checking rule (Which Is same As with plant parameter OPPQ)

e) In Define scope of check (OPJJ) made a tick mark in check w/o RLT.

Then Assigned the availability checking group at Mrp View of Header material.

In spite Of All These Settings Still At The Time Of Order Release/Save A Warning Massage Or A Informative Massage Is Not Appearing

Hi

Did you check the Transaction code OPJ2.

The "No Stock" indicator is checked?

Dear Mr.Brahmankar,

In spite of doing All The Settings I am un able to get the missing parts list when storage location is not entered in Component over view screen of Production Order Creation Screen But when SL is entered in component over view screen Then The System giving the missing parts list.

I tried to explore almost all the possible SPRO Settings But failed in Getting the missing parts list with out specifying the storage location in component over view (as the requirement is that the system should conceder all the available storage locations in that particular plant for checking the material availability)

Please suggest....

Hi Hari,

Go to OPJJ and active tick mark No storage location inspection This indicator is used to set the scope of the availability check. It is used to switch off the check at storage location level.

You create a reservation for a particular storage location. However, the scope of the availability check is set in such a way as to exclude the storage location. In this case, the system carries out the check at plant level only and does not take the storage location into account that is specified in the reservation.

With The above Configuration Setting in OPJJ also not giving the missing parts list

Is There any thing else to be Configured.........

Hi,

Have you maintained any scheduling profile in work scheduling view or MRP group in material master then please remove it and try.

Run mrp with planning mode-3 and check?

Our Clint Is Not Using MRP Run For That Perticular Plant And Creating Production Order In Co01Tranction.

Hy Hari,

If you are creating Prod. Order manually than which order type you are select.Because if you set configuration for one order type and select different order type during Order creation then dafinatly you will not find the desired result.

Pls check once you are selecting right (For which you have made the settings in OPJJ and then in OPJK)Order type during Order creation.

Hy Hari,

If you want to check material availability check at storage location level then in Transection code OPJJ (for Checking rule which you have assign in for your order type in OPJK) you have to un tick that No check for Storage Location Inspection.

Hi Hari,

For this you have to check the customisation setting in availability check --

Checking group, Checking rule ,Checking control,Scope of check and after this. The same checking group is assigned to material master MRP3 view. When you will create the order system will automatically give Message for Missing Parts and in order there is one icon "material avaliability check" you click on this then u will get the message either the materials are avalable or not?

Please check error log in order also and come back.

I Did The Following Settings

A) Define Checking control 02 Individual Req

Total Sales Single Record

Total Div Rec Single Record

B)Define Checking Rule PP Check Rule

C)Define Scope Of Check Availability Check 02 Ind Req

Checking Rule PP Check Rule

Stock

Include Safety stock

Stock In Transfer

Incl Quanty Insp Stock

And When No tick Mark Is Applied In NO Stor Loc Inspectn

Not Used Checking Group "KP" In components material master.

After Making All This Settings Also Before Order ReleaseWhen Pressed u201CMaterial Availability Checku201D

The System Is Showing All Materials Available In Spite Of Deficit In Storage Location

Hi,

Check in Checking group - OVZ2, Select 02 - individual req - In the field Rel. during check - Select Always check.

After Making the above settings also The missing parts list for HALBS Is Not Shown in Error Log. This Halbs Also Defind with MRP Type VM( Automatic Reorder Point) With Reorder Point 0( Zero)

Check availability without replenishment lead time Don't leave this field blank tick mark it. So it will not consider your replenishment lead time.

i dont think MRP typw will make any difference to that.

you just check check with RLT in chek control.

May be this looks silly to you. I would request you to recheck the stock situation of the components, also please ensure that you have not used Checking group "KP" to your components material master.

Hi Hari,

To set Material Avaibility at Storage Location you have to remove Tick from No Storage location ispection check from T.Code OPJJ(Checking Rule).
