Single TO for several st. bins via LT10

Former Member

Hi.

Is there any chance to make LT10 to create a single TO for moving stock from several source st. bins?

I need to move the same material from 5 bins of the same ST (high rack) into another ST (block), I use LT10,

but it creates 5 separate TO's, and I need one.

It's much easer to deal with one TO instead of multiple, both for printing and data entering.

Maybe I should use another t.code?

Please, advise.

Hi

This is actually two questions

1. Can you use LT10 to move multiple materials at once, The answer to this is yes BUT only if you want all of the materials to go to ONE destination bin.

2. Can you get one TO

The answer to this is yes you can but you need to configure this in the IMG

I hope that this helps

I'm pleased that such Gurus like Csaba and Frenchy pay attention to my question.

This gives hope at least )

But if I i could find config options myself I would not ask for some help.

Can you give me a bit more details, Frenchy? Which part of the IMG I should explore?

Hi,

I'm afraid TO split is not for manual TO creation and the answer had already been given to you. If you want to confirm it (whether my answer is right or not) I suggest you should ask Jurgen on MM forum and / or Svetja on SAPfans MM forum.

My knowledge is very limited compared to theirs.

Thank you sirs, for your valuable help.

As far as I need splitting TO on the level of system documents, I suppose that configuration of print codes will not help.

Creating single TO for several source bins via LT10 or other t.codes in standard system is not possible.

Suppose ABAPers summoning required.

Special thanks to Csaba for additional contacts, I'll address them later.

Check in OMLV check your print control for multiple processing and ensure it is not 1

In the movement type check the print code whicj i think should be 02

Also you need to assign a profile

If this does not work then I am unsure if it can be done.

If I find out any more I will get back to you

Logistics execution > Warehouse Management > Activities > Transfers > Processing performance Data / TO split

Go through the complete section and read the docs attached

I've followed your advise and studied all the section. That was rather usefull, but I still can not find an answer.

I've done the following:

1. Defined sort profiles (ascend sort by source stor type)

2. Defined split profile (with respect to sort prof. created on step 1)

3. Assigned split profile to the WHN movement type 999, for sorce stor.type *** and dest. stor. type ***

But LT10 (movement type 999) still creates two TO if i try to move same mtrl (same batch either) from two different places of high rack storage to block storage (to the single bin)

Do I have to define performance profile and maintain all the target data also?

In the split profile I specified none of the limit parameters, because I need explicit split for the different source storage types only. (I'm not sure that can be done).

I've considered the split on the basis of the picking area, but I'm not sure it will work if I define single picking area for each stor. type.

Can you give a bit more help, and say what I did wrong.

Hi,

As per my knowledge it is not possible to create TO directly ('manually') that would move goods from several bins to one. LT01 and LT10 is not good forthis purpose.

There are process in WM where you can realize this kind of idea via procesing TR (e.g. during material staging you can remove the components from several bin and move them into production are, to one dynamic bin).

(Sorrowfully, I cannot try it now, but maybe it is possible to create a TR in LB01 for mvt 999 (you have to allow manual TR creation for it) > processing that TR maybe you can realize your idea. I'm not sure, and I cannot test it now.)
