Subform is used to organize the different elements like input fields, tables , texts present body pages (or, though rarely, master pages).

Subform is nothing but group of elements. If we want to group certain elements on layout we will use subform at wrap them in to it.

you can set or apply the properties at subform level so that it applies to all of the elements present in it.

and you can set the properties like flowed and positioned accordingly all the elements will be aligned.

Hi,

Subforms are used to organize your form elements like textfields, attributes, tables etc.

It allows you to maintain your form data in hierarchy manner.you can do your subform as flowing or positioned.

If it flowing, watever data that subform is containing it will be flowing till end of record. It will be useful for displaying item level data.

Hi,

In a very simple approach, subforms can be thought of as folders containing several objects. They can be used for the simple reason of keeping order in the Hierarchy, as it is possible to expand and compress subforms.

Subforms also help to rearrange several objects at a different place in the form.

Hi,

In a simple way, I will explain. Suppose if you want to print address, for each line in a address you may use text box. If your address contains five lines, all these five lines can be put together in a single subform. That is the use.
