Physical inventory document

Dear all,

While doing physical inventory in Mi04, what quantity do we have to enter. Total stock quantity or only the differences. Also how to enter the shortage in the same document.

Please advise.

The physical count is to be put in MI04 deducting the material which are allocated aginst sales order.

HI,

In MI04,you have to enter total quantity.

By using MI07 tcode you can enter the shortage quantity.

Hi

Use MI04 for entering the count results

Use MI07 or MI20 and follow the instruction in the screen to post the difference

on Physical inventory tab in the mi04 document you will see down..there is quantity ...ie. wht you havre counted..then book inventory count, and then difference b/w book and counted difference is entered and after that difference in amoutn is entered...
