Missing entry in SICF services after webservice transporting

Hi experts!

I created a web service (from an abap function) and it works well in the development system. I transported to the QAS environment and the corresponding entry in the SICF services is missing.

I can see my webservice in wsconfig and wsadmin transactions, even I can test and see the WSDL document, but the entry in the SICF does not appear (in QAS environment). Obviously I need it in order to configure the logon configuration.

After I transported de Webservice I could observe in the wsconfig transaction that my webservice showed an error because no ICF services were activated. Then I activated the /default_host/sap/bc/soap services and the error disappear. Do I need to activate some other services? Do I need to configure something else.

Once you transport a service to another client you need to activate the service.Thats all you would need.

Thanks Nandi, but exactly that's the problem. My service does not appear in the list (transaction SICF). Do you have any idea why?

I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find the answer to your problem?

Yes, you have to "manually" transport de service. Since de SICF transaction, select the service, then right click and select the option "Obj.Directory Entry", here you will generate a transport request.
