How to fix : Custom Codelist Dropdown working in Preview mode but not visible on Tenant?

I have created a custom codelist with default values like hour month day etc.
I have created a dropdown with this datatype and its working in preview mode in UI designer. But When I assign the same EC to a std screen on UI it just shows the label and no dropdown box appears.

    Hi Akash

For BCOs/Codelists to work there are 2 mandates :-

    1) Inclusing of these custom data types in BAC

    2) Enablement of BAC question in BC Config (Scoping)

If you have done these 2 steps including "Deployment of SDK Solution" correctly, then there is NO reason for it not to Work.

    Hope this helps!

If not, raise an incident and let SAP Support guide you through the issue.

    Hi

Please add your BCO/Codelist to a BAC and deploy your SDK Solution.

Once your solution is deployed, in BC scoping activate your solution.

    • Hi
      Thanks for the quick reply.

I have tried your suggestions but still the problem is not solved.
I created a new BACelement and added both my BCO and codelist there and activated it and deployed the solution config as well, but still It does not show up. I tried with both bco and codelist approached but no luck.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Akash

    Hi Akash

Did you also enable the BAC in your scoping in Administrator WoC?

    • In addition to my previous reply.

To Scope in your solution, follow the path you have given in BAC Solution under Business Configuration WoC->Implementation Projects->Scoping-><Follow the BAC Path> to find your Solution Question/Option

You should be able to find these details in Studio guide as well.

Refer the same for any more doubts on this.
